Lemon-Thyme Grouper


  • 2 grouper filets (or other white fish such as bass, sole, cod, or halibut)
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsps olive oil
  • sea salt and pepper to taste


  1. Mix lemon juice, thyme, red pepper, and salt, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and 1/4 tsp salt. Set aside.
  2. Heat the other tablespoon in a skillet on medium, season both sides of the fish with salt and pepper, and cook 3 to 5 minutes per side until opaque.
  3. Serve and drizzle with lemon-thyme vinaigrette.

Grouper (wild-caught) is a good source of vitamin D, iron, magnesium, and small amounts of the B-complex vitamins.
