How to Have the Best (Steak) Dinner Ever

1. Marinate New York Strip or sirloin steaks (4–6 oz. per person) in soy sauce, grated fresh ginger, and minced garlic and scallions for 30 minutes to 1 hour.Steak Marinade

2. Heat up the grill.Grill

3. Preheat oven to 400. Peel and thinly slice 1 beet per person. Cut up 1 head cauliflower. Separate, smash, and peel cloves in 1 head of garlic. Chop 2 cloves and set aside. Arrange everything else on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and coriander. Roast in oven for 12–15 minutes.

4. Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons butter in a saute pan. Once melted, add chopped garlic cloves and cook 1 minute.Add 2 cups sliced shiitake mushrooms, cover, and cook on medium-low heat for 10 minutes.Garlic

5. Toss steaks on the grill, approximately 4 minutes each side (for medium rare). Add 1 bunch washed asparagus once you flip the steaks.Asparagus

6. Open up a bottle of red wine.
